VHP demands central laws to free temples and mutts from government control and curb religious conversions

New Delhi, Jul 18 (PTI) The Vishva Hindu Parishad (VHP) on Sunday called on the Union government to pass a law to free Hindu temples and religious institutions from government control in the states, and also lobbied for the enactment of a “strong” central law to stop illegal religious conversions in the country.

The saffron company adopted two separate resolutions in this regard at a two-day meeting of its board of directors and board of directors in Faridabad.
