Thank you good neighbors | News, Sports, Jobs
For the publisher:
The Wintersville Good Neighbors would like to thank the Wintersville United Methodist Youth Group, Cross Creek Elementary School and Jefferson County Christian School for all of their help with our Christmas project.
The youth group, under the leadership of Tiffany Manley, helped us set up the project, sort and wrap gifts, and provide labor. Cross Creek’s fourth grade delivered over 1,500 canned goods their school collected and helped sort through all of those boxes. They are led by teacher MacKenzie Householder. Their parent-teacher association also presented a very generous check to Good Neighbors. The Christian school collected canned food for us.
We would also like to thank the Tae Kwon Do Academy for the toys and canned goods, Grae Con Construction for their very generous donation of toys and Cub Scout Troop 415 for collecting canned food for us.
We depend on the help of our community for this project, and this year they have been very important to our organization. We were able to help more than 60 families and 148 children to have a good Christmas. A big thank you for all the help given to Les Bons Voisins.
