How to interpret Mayra Flores’ victory in Texas
Last week’s special congressional election in Texas’ Rio Grande Valley is more than a precursor to a likely Republican “wave” in November.
Mexican-born Christian conservative Republican Mayra Flores won what had been a Democrat-controlled seat for the past century. She campaigned on “God, Family and Country”.
His victory and other GOP gains in the region send shockwaves through the Democratic Party, which thrives on racial corruption. They thought Hispanics would always be in their pocket. In fact, they expected to retain power permanently thanks to this rapidly growing demographic – as well as more voter fraud.
While pundits attributed Ms Flores’ victory to inflation, gas prices and empty shelves – and all of that was part of it – there is a deeper explanation.
Voters say, “Stop the madness.”
Ms. Flores represents patriotism, traditional values, limited government, law and order, the Second Amendment, and the recognition that our rights come from God, not man. In short, it represents common sense.
So voters in South Texas are saying, in effect, stop handing us the Kool-Aid that the government is our savior.
Stop expanding government power, debt and taxes.
Stop focusing on media-fueled crises designed to distract us from the grave damage President Biden and his Democrats are inflicting on our country.
Stop talking about disarming law-abiding American gun owners from tragic and insane mass shootings. Stop ignoring the ongoing death toll in Democrat-run cities.
Stop leaving our border wide open to millions of illegal immigrants, including sex traffickers, drug traffickers, MS-13 gang members and terrorists. Ms. Flores, a mother of four, is the wife of a US Border Patrol agent. Go ahead, Democrats. “Racist” stamp on his forehead.
While we’re at it, stop bragging about defending Ukraine’s sovereignty while refusing to defend the US border.
Stop using COVID-19 to manipulate the economy, kill electoral integrity safeguards, and pave the way for mandatory vaccine “passports” and a social credit system like Communist China’s.
Stop schools from indoctrinating students into “woke” activism. Stop criticizing the FBI for parents speaking out at school board meetings. Stop threatening, like Biden did last week, to withhold federal lunch money if schools don’t push the LGBTQ agenda. Talk about a tyrant.
Stop telling us that drag queen storytime is harmless fun for kids. Stop empowering schools that keep parents in the dark while tricking confused children into cross-dressing and changing their names.
Stop inflicting vulnerable children with dangerous puberty-blocking drugs, followed by cross-sex hormones (also dangerous) and the surgical removal of healthy sex organs. This is madness. It is criminal. Stop that.
Stop saying that America is uniquely and systematically racist. Stop stirring up hatred of white people. Stop trying to start a race war. Stop tearing down statues and renaming everything.
Stop crippling the fossil fuel industry, which has lifted billions out of poverty. Stop pretending we can safely destroy America’s energy independence before the “green” alternatives are ready.
Stop leading us into an economy dependent on Communist China, which controls 80% of the rare earth minerals needed for wind turbines, solar panels and the batteries of those fabulous $50,000 electric cars.
Stop blaming Vladimir Putin for the Biden energy disaster and set record inflation. Both were soaring before Russian troops invaded Ukraine. Everyone knows it.
Stop criminalizing dissent. Stop using the term “election deniers,” an obvious ploy to associate skeptics with “Holocaust deniers.”
Stop pretending that unborn babies aren’t human beings. Stop equating disagreement with “hate”.
Stop looking the other way as left-wing terrorists firebomb or vandalize up to 29 crisis pregnancy centers, pro-life groups and churches while the Biden administration yawns.
Stop encouraging mobs to hunt down Supreme Court justices in their homes. It’s a federal offence. A crackpot attempted to assassinate Judge Brett M. Kavanaugh. For days, Speaker Nancy Pelosi blocked funding for additional security.
A group called “Ruth sent us” promises more violence. They published the address of Judge Amy Coney Barrett’s church and the religious school where she sends her children. New York Democratic Senator Chuck (“You Started the Whirlwind and You Will Pay the Price”) Is Schumer Happy Now?
Stop pretending that Americans only care about the Democrats’ Soviet-style TV show trial on Jan. 6. Stop lying to us and saying it’s “bipartisan” because two anti-Trump Republicans are in the game.
By the way, stop vilifying Mr. Trump and the millions of people who support his policies, tweets or not.
Stop punishing people just for asking why the deadly BLM/Antifa race riots of 2020 were pushed into a memory hole called “peaceful protests”.
Shut down – now – the new Disinformation Governance Council (i.e. Department of Truth) at the Department of Homeland Security. It’s America, not China, Cuba or North Korea. At least not yet.
Yes, we have to stop the madness. Conservatives like Ms. Flores and action-oriented Republican governors in Texas, Florida and Virginia are leading the way.
