Interior Minister Sheikh Rashid Ahmad said that in accordance with Prime Minister Imran Khan’s directives, Eid Milad-un-Nabi (SAW) will be celebrated across the country with religious fervor and respect.
Interacting with the media here on Saturday, he said that to hold special ceremonies on 12 Rabi-ul-Awal (Eid Milad), all arrangements have been finalized and a ceremony in this regard to be held at the Congress Center will be discussed. by the Prime Minister.
Sheikh Rashid said various events had been planned in the Twin Cities as processions and Milad-un-Nabi (SAW) rallies would be held in Rawalpindi and Islamabad in addition to a number of other activities to celebrate the day. .
He said: “All business is moving in the right direction and there was no doubt about political stability. The enemies of the country will not achieve their wishes.
The Minister of the Interior said that the current government will complete its mandate and that democratic and security institutions will be further strengthened during the mandate of this government.
Sheikh Rashid has declared that lasting peace in Afghanistan is a prerequisite for stability in the region and in the international world. He said that peace in Afghanistan was a must for peace in Pakistan and that Pakistan wants peace and stability in Afghanistan.
He said that things were changing in the region and that Pakistan being a responsible state would fulfill its national security responsibility while meeting international expectations as a major country in the region with the aim of strengthening peace in Afghanistan.
Speaking about development projects in Rawalpindi, the minister said that Punjabi Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar has inaugurated the city’s third university while work on the ring road will begin soon.
He said three universities have been established in Rawalpindi while several educational institutions have been established in poor areas of the city.
