Dickson Christian Academy works with Feed the Need | Sports

Dickson Christian Academy is a home athletics program that is active in seven different sports.

We have about a hundred elementary to high school students participating and we look forward to this coming athletic school year.

DCA firmly believes that God has called us to act in an UNEXPECTED way.

Over the next 24 days, we will partner with the Champion Group to raise funds for a project called FEED the NEED.

Dickson Christian will raise much-needed funds for his athletic program, but instead of selling cookie dough, magazines, or coupon books, DCA is hosting their very first FEED THE NEED event to help those less fortunate.

Athletes and their families will prepare 10,000 meals for those in need.

These meals are FDA approved, made with dried, non-perishable foods and vitamins to best meet the needs of people with malnutrition.

We hope to help many pantries here locally in Dickson, the surrounding areas, as well as many orphanages and schools in Haiti.

Our food packaging party will be on Friday August 27 at the Dickson YMCA from 6 to 8 p.m.

Please consider helping the hungry and injured both locally and around the world.

Our goal is $ 50,000. We ask for your support from local businesses and community members.

Helping those in need is a wonderful way for us to come together to make a positive impact in our community. Join us and make a real difference in the lives of those less fortunate.
