California Unemployment: Scammers Benefit From EDD Benefits While One Million Unemployed Still Cannot | Zoom Fintech

SAN FRANCISCO (KGO) – A magnificent development after 7 On Your Side reported the guy from Florida who suddenly received 12 letters in EDD from California, all addressed to strangers. Reports are pouring in heaps of other EDD letters appearing in mailboxes in California. It turns out that the natives used arbitrary speeches to produce deceptive unemployment claims. What is so infuriating is that over a thousand unemployed Californians still cannot get rewards for valid applications, and yet it seems that EDD has paid the crooks thousands of dollars. Florida man mistakenly receives 12 letters from California EDD. The EDD won’t say how much he’s gone, but now he’s trying to hide the money, which is why this flurry of letters. We told you about Barry O’Brien from West Palm Beach, Florida.
