Coral Glades football officially has three players from their senior class heading to Warner University at Lake Wales for the 2022-23 football season.

Jordan Lyons

Senior Jordan Lyons helped the Jaguars go 6-3 and make it to the State Playoffs for the first time in school history. Lyons attracted interest from several schools but chose Warner due to the revamped curriculum which features an experienced group. Last season, Lyon recorded 13 tackles and two sacks in five games.

“Being involved in college football is one of the best feelings on earth,” Lyons said. “Playing college football was one of my big dreams that actually came true.

Raoul Pierre

Raoul Pierre is expected to join his former teammate after his two-year career in the college football team. Playing free safety, Pierre had 61 tackles, recovered two fumbles and had one assist. He was also part of a defense that allowed six or fewer runs in three of the team’s six wins.

Courtney Bucknell

While Courtney Bucknell played defense with Coral Glades, he was also a central part of an offense that lasted 1,123 yards. The Jaguars also scored at least 27 points in their wins and reached a season-high 62 against Coral Springs Charter.

They are set to join a program that has won three games in 2021 with victories over Kentucky Christian School, Union College and Florida Memorial University.
